Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

As a single mother of two, I had to take the unconventional route to gain all of my experience within my nursing career. I'm fortunate in this time to have gained experience in a variety of nursing sectors including home care, and hospice, and I currently work in mental health. I have accumulated over 25 years in the nursing field and once presented the opportunity to teach and present other nurses with similar opportunities like the ones afforded to me, I couldn't say no.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who inspire me. I make it a priority to set realistic goals so that making progress feels obtainable. I also enjoy taking time to celebrate even the small wins along the journey.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Our nursing school has a few new projects we could use $25,000 to help complete. We are expanding into a larger nursing school location which needs additional supplies and furniture. We also began a new phlebotomy course that we would like to nationally authorize and we are currently in the process of revamping our website with our new domain.
